We're glad you're here! Open your heart for a minute, harden not your heart….and let’s continue the journey.
1) How do you think we came into being? Really take a moment to think about it. All of the amazing animals, beautiful woods, beaches, mountains and a finely tuned atmosphere to make sustainable life possible. According to science, the odds of this planet forming sustainable life are practically zero. In the book “The Case for a Creator” Lee Strobel interviews lead scientists from across the world who came to the conclusion that there is in fact a Creator. Our world was not created by random chance. If you are interested in hearing all the evidence that backs up this claim, we encourage you to read his book.
2) You have to decide: atheism (there is no God), agnosticism (impossible to know, unsure, or don’t care), or belief in God. What do you gain by not believing? What if you’re wrong? The famous philosopher, Pascal, contemplated this very question which became known as “The Wager.” There is a 50/50 chance that God does or does not exist. If we believe in God and we are right then we have everything to gain (eternity in Heaven) and very little to lose if we are wrong (time and convenience). If we choose to not believe in God and we are right then we have very little to gain (time and convenience) but if we are wrong we have everything to lose (eternity in Hell). This is the most important decision of your life. No one knows the day or hour their final breath will be so please turn your mind and heart to Christ before it's too late.
3) Is it possible that something much greater than ourselves is beyond our comprehension? Belief in God takes a leap of faith. We are not born with an instruction manual but we are born with the free will to choose good vs. evil. Where does this sense of good come from? It could only come from a source outside this world: an omni-benevolent (all good) Creator of our entire world.
4) Who’s the most influential person in history when it comes to teaching good vs. evil? Where time itself revolves around the birth of this man? Jesus Christ. “Whoever believes in Him may have eternal life.” (John 3:15) “I am the way, the truth, and the life; no comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6) Will you accept Jesus into your life?
If you were lost before but decide to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior just know that; “there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance” (Luke 15:7).
If you would like some help in praying, here are some options:
1) "Jesus I have no idea where this journey will go but I have the faith and trust that you’ll lead me to exactly where I’m supposed to be. Amen."
2) "Jesus I want you in my life. I accept you as my Lord and Savior. I was blind but now I see, I am sorry for my sins. Help me to find the straight and narrow path forward that aligns my life with your will. Amen."
We'll be praying for you too at Mission to Save.
